Abstract:
To provide an art enabling downsizing of an in-wheel motor driving device and also efficient travel of the device in a wide speed range.SOLUTION: An in-wheel motor driving device includes a first motor 10, a second motor 20 and a reduction gear 30. The first motor is coaxially arranged with a rotary shaft 2b. The second motor is arranged side by side with the first motor in an axial direction, and enables output of a speed region different from that of the first motor. The reduction gear 30 is coaxially arranged with the rotary shaft inside of the first motor in a radial direction and reducing speed of power from the first motor. In this in-wheel motor driving device 100, a first speed state where the power from the first motor is transmitted to the rotary shaft via the reduction gear and a second speed state where the power from the second motor is transmitted to the rotary shaft can be switched therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
