To improve processing capacity by shortening a time for one batch by continuously performing dry distillation processing without explosively burning a combustible gas generated from a dry-distilled material.
In this induction heating type dry distillation furnace wherein a dry distillation tank 2 storing the dry-distilled material 7, is induction-heated in a furnace main body 1 in an inert gas atmosphere to perform dry distillation of the dry-distilled material 7, and the dry-distilled material after processing is discharged from a lower portion of the furnace main body 1, a discharge chamber 12 of a sealed structure is connected with a lower portion of the furnace main body 1, a means for replacing the discharge chamber 12 by an inert gas, is mounted, then the discharge chamber 12 is replaced by nitrogen, and a bottom cover 6 is opened to discharge the dry-distilled material 7 after dry distillation processing, to a discharge tray 10 of the discharge chamber 12. As the outside air does not intrude into the furnace in discharging the dry-distilled material 7, replacement by inert gas in the furnace for charging the next dry-distilled material 7 is unnecessary, and further as the discharge chamber 12 has low oxygen concentration, the discharged dry-distilled material 7 is not oxidized.
