Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an induction motor controller which can avoid an abrupt torque fluctuation when shifting from power running to regeneration and can reduce transition loss.

CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with a steady loss minimum flux operation part 11 for calculating a rotor flux with a steady loss being at the minimum according to a torque command value, a target flux operation part 12 for calculating a target flux and the first-order differential value of the target flux based on a specific transfer function, and a target torque operation part 15 for calculating the target torque of an induction motor based on the specific transfer function from the torque command value in addition to general vector control operation parts (13, 16-19). Further, a torque command value generation part 9 for outputting a torque command value which is in opposite sign on regeneration from that on power running is provided, thus obtaining a negative torque on regeneration. The control for reducing the above loss is the same for both power running and regeneration. Also, the transfer function at the target torque operation part 15 is allowed to differ between power running and regeneration, thus preventing a rapid torque fluctuation on migration.
