Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an industrial germicide, having effective germicidal activities against a wide range of microorganisms such as bacteria, molds and yeasts and capable of sustaining effects thereof.
CONSTITUTION: This industrial germicide contains (a) 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3- diol and (b) methylenebisthiocyanate at (3:7) to (30:1) blending ratio or contains (a) 2-bromo-2-nltropropane-1,3-diol, (b) methylenebisthiocyanate and (c) 2,2- dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide at (1:9) to (9:1) blending ratio of the total amount of the ingredients (a) and (b):component (c) expressed in terms of weight ratio.
