CONSTITUTION: In the case of operating as a 2 cycle engine, for example, based on a judgment in control 18 according to an operating condition of an engine, electric current is supplied to a 2 cycle coil 16, and an electromagnetic plate 9 is excited, and a clutch plate 13 is adsorbed to the electromagnetic plate 9. Thereby, a gear 6 for 2 cycles and an injection pump shaft 1 are connected to each other, and by means of engagement of a positioning projection 11 with a positioning groove 14, fuel is injected in the timing as the 2 cycle engine. Meanwhile, in the case of operating as a 4 cycle engine, an electromagnetic plate 10 is excited, and a gear 8 for 4 cycles and the injection pump shaft 1 are connected to each other, and by means of engagement of a positioning projection 12 with a positioning groove 15, the fuel is injected in the timing as the 4 cycle engine.
