Title:
INJECTOR FOR DELIVERING FLUID MEDICAMENT TO PATIENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002095748
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an injector that is used for subcutaneous delivery of fluid medicament to patient, avoids pressing or impairing tissue, maintain a stability of skin effectively, capable of injecting fluid medicament slowly and, relatively easily producing at relatively reasonable price.

The injector for intramuscular, intradermal or subcutaneous delivery of fluid medicament has a cylindrical part having a closed end or an opening end and a separate space is formed between those two ends. An injector tube expands to the separate space through the cylindrical part from the closed end. A suction pump is connected to the separate space as liquid movable for generating a partial vacuum in inside of the separate space when the opening end of the cylindrical part is retained at the patient's skin. The patient's skin is sucked to the separate space by the vacuum pressure and the end of the injector tube is pushed to the skin and a position is determined. Skin near the end is also sucked to the separate space by the vacuum pressure. Skin near the end of the injector tube is retained stability and movement of skin against he end during injecting fluid medicament to the patient is restricted minimum.
