Abstract:
To provide an ink jet printing apparatus capable of reducing drainage water and surely removing unnecessary colorant, solvent, preservative, etc., from printed fabric with a small amount of cleaning liquid.SOLUTION: An ink jet printing apparatus for printing water-based ink on fabric comprises a printing unit for discharging the water-based ink onto the fabric, a unit for applying cleaning liquid containing no eluted substance from the fabric onto the fabric, disposed downstream of the printing unit, and a unit for removing the cleaning liquid, disposed downstream of the unit for applying cleaning liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
