Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device with a noncontact sensor, capable of suppressing false recognition of a hand gesture.SOLUTION: An input device includes: a sensor panel 20 with a noncontact sensor arranged thereon for detecting a hand of a user in a space; and a control device 10 transmitting a signal to a target device 30 on the basis of a gesture of the user's hand. The sensor panel 20 includes a gesture identification unit 12 that includes: an upper panel 20a opposed to the user; and a lower panel 20b inclined upward to the user with respect to the upper panel 20a, and that identifies a hand gesture on the basis of relative positions of a position of the metacarpus of the hand detected by the lower panel 20b and a reciprocating finger gesture range of the hand detected by the upper panel 20a.
