Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insect proof material which can not only effectively prevent damage of crops by insects, but also have repelling effect on insects in orchard or farm area.
SOLUTION: This insect proof material comprises a polyolefin composition containing an amine compound represented by the formula R1-N[(CH2CH2O)nR2]2 or an amide compound represented by the formula R4-CO-N[(CH2CH2O)nR5]2 [R1 and R4 are each 5-22C alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkadienyl group, alkatrienyl group or alkynyl group; (m) and (n) are each an integer of 1-3; R2 and R5 are H or COR3 (R3 is 5-22C alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkadienyl group, alkatrienyl group or alkynyl group) in an amount of 0.1-10wt.% and is preferably formed into a bag for culturing fruits.
