Abstract:
To provide an insert for an electric furnace including a strand coil-like heater element, in which accumulation of expansion of the strand is prevented.
An insert for an electric furnace includes a heat insulation shell and a coil-like heater element. A heater element (2) includes a strand comprising at least two sections connected to each other via a bending part (10) of the strand, so that the bending part (10) and sections (S1, S2) form a common strand loop. A fastening member (11) is fixed in the heat insulation shell and arranged in a region of the bending part (10), to avoid the strand in the sections (S1, S2) directly connected to the bending part (10) from being expanded beyond the fastening member (11).
