Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the stable attachment and detachment of the water storage tank of the iron device constituted in such a manner that water is supplied from the water storage tank in a stand imposed with an iron body into the iron body by freely attachably and detachably disposing the water storage tank in alongside of the iron imposing part of the stand.
CONSTITUTION: The stand 15 on which the iron body 1 is held imposed at the time of the short pause during the ironing operation has the imposing part to be imposed with the iron body 1 with a forward uphill inclination. Plural power feed terminals respectively connected to the signal terminals and power feed pins of the iron body 1 and a water feed valve device 19 connected to the valve device of the iron body 1 are provided behind the above-mentioned imposing part. The water storage tank 20 provided with a water feed port to be opened and closed by a cap 27 is freely attachably and detachably disposed in the position alongside the imposing part of the stand 15 in such a case. This water storage tank 20 is detained to a storage state by a locking device 24. The water storage tank 20 is so constituted that the tank is projected upward by an energizing means 29 provided in the bottom of a tank housing part 21 at the time of releasing the locking device 24.
