Title:
IRON REST OF IRON BOARD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08224400
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify separation and assembly, ensure convenience at the time of accommodation, and preclude occurrence that an iron receptacle constitutes an obstacle by fixing a reinforcing member for detention to the lower part of the iron rest, and making the iron rest capable of being mounted and removed with the lower situated reinforcing member and the lateral upper surface of the rest.

CONSTITUTION: An iron rest 7 for placing an iron is formed from a member A having an approx. channel-shaped section and another member B having a section approx. in the form of a truncated cone, wherein the rest member A is furnished on one side with a detention edge 11 inn such a way as bent and stretched over, while guard rods 13, 13 are transversely provided at the front extremity and the tail of a groove 12 having an approx. channel section so that the iron placed in the groove 12 is prevented from slipping off. The other rest member B is furnished with a detention edge 14 confronting the undersurface of the iron board 1 in such a way as bent and stretched over, and this edge 14 is arranged as capable of being detained with and removed from a reinforcing member 8 by the use of a resilient force, wherein the reinforcing member 8 is for detaining the iron rest 7 fixed to the end of a reinforcing frame 6 secured to the undersurface 5 of the iron board 1. Thereby the mounting and removal can be generated by such a one-touch operation that an inclining piece on the rest member B is moved as getting over the reinforcing member 8.
