Abstract:
PURPOSE: To insert the cylindrical laundry such as trousers from one end of an ironing board main body for ironing in an easy attitude while knees are inserted by forming at least one leg at the prescribed intervals from the ground plane of support legs and the back face of the ironing board main body, respectively.
CONSTITUTION: One support leg 3 of a pair of support legs 3, 4 made of a metal pipe is combined with an L-shaped leg section 3a and a U-shaped leg section 3b so that a prescribed gap can be formed from the back face 6 of an ironing board main body 2. The support legs 3, 4 are erected at the time of ironing, and folded knees are inserted into the gap between the long side section 13 of the leg section 3b of the support leg 3 and the ground plane of the support leg 3 for ironing. A gap is also formed between the back face of the ironing board main body 2 and the long side section 13 of the U-shaped leg section 3b, and the cylindrical laundry such as trousers can be inserted from one curved end of the ironing board main body 2 for ironing.
