PURPOSE: To automatically heat an iron mounted on the upper face, dispense with the power cord of the iron, and freely move it by arranging the temperature adjustment section of an iron bottom plate, an oscillation section, a power amplifier, and an induction coil oscillating magnetic lines of force on an ironing board.

CONSTITUTION: This ironing board 1 heats an iron having a bottom plate made of a ferromagnetic substance. The ironing board 1 is arranged with a temperature adjustment section 5 setting the temperature of the iron bottom plate, an oscillation section 4 controlled by the temperature adjustment section 5, a power amplifier 3 amplifying the signal of the oscillation section 4, and an induction coil 2 connected to the power amplifier 3 and oscillating magnetic lines of force. A heat-resistant upper plate 6 is arranged on the induction coil 2. The tip plug 11 of a power cord 10 extended from an electrical fitting box 9 is connected to a power socket, and the iron is mounted on the ironing board 1. The iron is heated, no power cord is required, and it can be freely moved.
