PURPOSE: To provide a clothes ironing device for industrial use designed so as to minimize the time of the ironing processing of clothes such as shirts.

CONSTITUTION: This ironing device is provided with a pair of vertically extended ironing plates 1 and 1' constituted so as to be driven in cooperation in a mutually facing direction and a body stand 3 disposed between the ironing plates 1 and 1' and constituted so as to drive the peak part 3' upwards for supporting the clothes to be ironed. Recessed parts are formed at the peak parts 2 and 2' of the pair of the ironing plates 1 and 1' and the recessed parts are formed into a shape suited to the contour of the peak part 3' of the body stand 3. A holding and transferring means for holding the ironed clothes and moving them is provided.
