PURPOSE: To achieve a stabilization of the temperature of a suit of clothes put on an ironing table, feasibility of handy prevention of moisture at a part where the suit of clothes is placed and better operability in the ironing when the suit of clothes is placed on the ironing table to perform the ironing.

CONSTITUTION: An ironing table 1 has an iron carrier part 3 to place an iron and a clothes carrier part 2 to place clothes. The clothes carrier part 2 is provided with an auxiliary heater 9 to heat it. The iron apparatus is made up of an iron and the ironing table 1. The ironing table 1 is provided with a heating control means to control the energization of the auxiliary heater interlocking the setting of the temperature of the iron.
