Abstract:
To provide a joint assembly to prevent the occurrence of galling.
The joint assembly is useful to couple one structure to the other structure. When various structures warp, i.e., are bent, an edge load is generated thereamong. The joint assembly being an object includes a pin situated between first and second structures. An insert is situated in a floating state around the pin in contact with either of the first and second structures. A coronary surface is used approximately in a central position on the insert. The coronary surface decreases the edge load by a force exerted in the direction of the center of the insert.
