Abstract:
To provide a joint system of truss members which can greatly reduce the weight of a truss structure while keeping the strength of the truss structure sufficiently high.
A plurality of truss members 11 are connected to one joint member 10, and a plurality of such junctions 12 are arranged to assemble a three-dimensional truss structure as a whole. Each truss member 11 is formed as an FRP pipe formed in a hollow shape from an FRP material, and the truss members 11 are opposed to the joint member 10 in a straight line and joined thereto, with an FRP rod 13 provided to pass through the hollow parts 11a of the opposite truss members 11 and the joint member 10, and with a tensile force applied to the FRP rod 13.
