Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve strength by arranging structural members and hooking and attaching a plurality of FRP rings in a twisted state between a pair of end members subjected to a tensile load.
CONSTITUTION: This comprises end members 1, FRP rings 2 and structural members 9. And a plurality of FRP rings 2 are hooked and attached in a twisted state so as to create an innitial tension as a pre-pressure between a pair of end members 1 susbjected to a tensile load by arranging to the structural members 9. In this way, a high strength and a high rigidity peculiar to FRP can be effectively utilized and a structural member construction having a high strength can be obtained.
