To provide a keyboard device, wherein key touches which are different by keys or key areas are attained in an inexpensive method.
A key frame has a plurality of keys supported at their rear end portions so that front portions swing up and down respectively. On the key frame, switch members 32, 33, and 34 are disposed in order from a low-pitch area to a high-pitch area. The switch members 32, 33, and 34 have a plurality of switches 32b and 32c, 33b and 33c, and 34b and 34c, provided corresponding to the plurality of keys 11 respectively and elastically deforming when the keys are pressed, molded into integrated structures. The switch members 32, 33, and 34 are gradually decreased in hardness from the low-pitch area to the high-pitch area, and the plurality of switches 32b and 32c, 33b and 33c, and 34b and 34c in the respective switch members 32, 33 and 34 are made different in shape or thickness by the keys or key areas and made smaller in reaction force during key depression toward the high-pitch area.
