PURPOSE: To provide the kitchen equipment constituted so that a conversation between a kitchen and a dining room is not interfered by a container shelf.

CONSTITUTION: In the lower part than the lower edge of an opening part 11 of a partition wall 1, a floor cabinet 2 is provided, and also, in the upper part than the upper edge of the opening part 11, a suspended cupboard 3 is provided, and on the lower face of this suspended cupboard 3, a container shelf 6 is suspended slidably between a position stored in the side of the partition wall 1 and a position for closing the opening part 11 through a guide rail 4 and an engager 5. This container shelf 6 is opened and formed on both sides of a kitchen K and a dining room D, and between the lower face of the containing shelf 6 and the lower edge of the opening part 11, a clearance of height of about 1/2 of the opening part 11 is provided.
