To provide a kneading mixer which can include a large amount of fine aggregate into the spherical aggregate discharged from its discharge port in regenerating coal ash by forming the spherical aggregate thereof and to provide a method for forming the inexpensive and good-quality spherical aggregate of the coal ash by using this kneading mixer.
The kneading mixer of a rotary pan type for performing kneading by horizontally rotating blades 3 for agitation disposed in a washtub- like vessel 2 for resource recovery of the coal ash which is industrial waste and has self-curability is provided with the discharge port 6 on the outer peripheral sidewall of the vessel 2. The coal ash and water are continuously fed into the vessel 2 from its top end open part and the spherical aggregate which is a regenerated material is manufactured by the rotation of the blades 3. The spherical aggregate is continuously discharged from the discharge port 6 likewise by the rotation of the blades 3 and further the discharge port 6 is made freely openable and closable; in addition, the position at the bottom end of the discharge port 6 is made freely movable in a vertical direction.
