Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate having excellent heat resistance, small dielectric constant, dielectric tangent, water absorption ratio, satisfactory external appearance and low cost, a multilayer board using it, and a method for manufacturing it.
SOLUTION: The laminate and metal foil comprise a layer made of liquid crystal polyester resin composition containing (A) liquid crystal polyester as a continuous phase and (B) copolymer having a functional group including reactivity with the polyester as dispersed phase, and a layer of fiber material containing organic fiber material and/or inorganic fiber material. Further, the laminate may comprise a layer made of liquid crystal polyester resin composition containing (A) liquid crystal polyester as a continuous phase and (B) copolymer having a functional group including reactivity with the polyester as a dispersed phase, and a layer made of organic fiber material and/or inorganic fiber material. And, a method for manufacturing the laminate or multilayer board comprises the steps of superposing the layers, and thermally press bonding it.
