Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate for a substrate for an organic EL device that has neither crack problem nor exfoliation problem, is excellent in dimension stability, has no curl and can exhibit sufficient gas barrier performance.SOLUTION: In a laminate for an organic EL device comprising a polyimide film base material containing a flexible polyimide layer of at least one layer and an organic group-containing silica film formed on the polyimide film base material, the elastic modulus of the polyimide film base material ranges from 3 to 10 GPa, and the linear expansion coefficient at 20 to 300°C ranges from 0 to 30 ppm/°C, the organic group-containing silica film can be represented by the following formula: (SiO)-(SiOR), (in the formula, R represents a methyl group, an ethyl group, a propyl group, a phenyl group, a benzyl group, an epoxy group, a mercapto group, and x satisfies 0≤X<1). The thickness ranges from 2 to 5 μm and the surface roughness Ra is equal to 5 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
