Title:
LAMINATED NON-WOVEN FABRIC AND ELECTRIC CARPET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3453831
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a thin laminated non-woven fabric high in thermal conductivity and useful for the surface materials of electric carpets.
CONSTITUTION: A spun-bonded non-woven fabric 1 produced by the thermal pressure contact of filaments is laminated to a non-woven fabric 2 comprising a short fiber web produced from the blend of high melting point short fibers with low melting point short fibers. Both the laminated non-woven fabrics 1, 2 are subjected to a needle-punching processing for their incorporation and subsequently to a thermal treatment at a temperature for melting the low melting point fibers for producing a laminated non-woven fabric. The filament spun-bonded non-woven fabric 1 has a high tensile strength, and even when the non-woven fabric 2 comprising the web is formed in a small thickness, the strength of the laminated non-woven fabric can be held due to the reinforcing effect of the spun-bonded non-woven fabric 1.
