PURPOSE: To obtain a laminated nonwoven fabric having high peeling strength and flexibility, good filter performance and excellent mechanical characteristics such as tensile strength and tensile elongation and obtain a process for the production of the nonwoven fabric.
CONSTITUTION: This laminated nonwoven fabric is produced by laminating and bonding an ultra-fine fiber nonwoven fabric with a filament nonwoven fabric. The ultra-fine fiber nonwoven fabric is composed of aggregate of ultrafine polyester fibers having a fineness of ≤0.7 de and produced by the melt-blowing of a blended resin composed of 70-95wt.% of a polyester polymer and 30-5wt.% of a polypropylene polymer. The polyester polymer constitutes almost the sheath part and the polypropylene polymer constitutes almost the core part of the ultra-fine fiber. The filament nonwoven fabric is aggregate of a polyester filament having a fineness larger than that of the ultra-fine fiber. The polyester ultra-fine fiber and the polypropylene filament are welded with each other at prescribe zones to bond both nonwoven fabrics.
