PURPOSE: To provide a laminated tape usable as e.g. an adhesive label to mainly clothing etc., and to provide a simple production method for the tape.

CONSTITUTION: The objective laminated tape is made up of two kinds of tapes A and B differing in melting point from each other, and both the tapes A and B are mutually fused only at both ends in the width direction of said tape. To produce the laminated tape, a fusing cut slitter composed mainly of an unwinding section, fusing cutting section, and winding section is used, and two kinds of sheets A and B differing in melting point from each other are simultaneously unwound and superposedly subjected to fusing cutting to obtain a tape with the sheets A and B fused only at the end in the width direction of the tape. In this case, it is characterized in that an edge for fusing cutting is made to come into contact with either of the sheets A and B higher in melting point to conduct cutting. With this method, the objective laminated tape can be obtained easily. This tape, which can also be used as a label, is also excellent durability such as resistance to washing.
