To obtain a reinforced laminate keeping its moisture permeability without developing wrinkles and curling greatly at low cost by a method wherein a porous sheet and a wide-meshed reinforcing material, which has a bonding layer having a melting point lower than that of the porous sheet and is made of stretched and reinforced stock, are fixed together by heat and pressure under a specified condition.
A porous sheet 1 is delivered through a turning roll 4a to a second pre-heating roll 5b. A reinforcing material 2 is prevented wrinkles from developing with an expander roll 7 and pre-heated with the second pre-heating roll 5b through a first pre-heating roll 5a so as to be meet with the porous sheet 1 in order to be further heated with a main pressure roll 9 and then pressed together with a pinch roll 10. In this time, the heating temperature T at the pressing together under heat is set to be higher than the melting point M of a bonding layer and lower than the melting point M of the porous sheet 1. Further, a relationship: 7.5/(ts+2)1.3<h<-0.5+3, in which ts°C is the difference between T and the M of the bonding layer and t°C is the difference between T and the softening point of the porous sheet 1 and (h) sec is a heating time. Furthermore, the delivery tension of the porous sheet 1 is kept at 200-550 g/mm2.
