Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam welding head in a laser beam machining device capable of preventing the contamination of a protecting window for a condensing lens by completely cutting sputter off.
SOLUTION: A nozzle 25 through which laser beams LB and an assist gas pass is provided in the condensing side of a condensing lens 13 provided in a laser beam welding head 1, a nozzle holder 21b fixing the nozzle is suspended from the laser beam welding head, plural ring-like straightening plates 33, which are provided with planes nearly orthogonal to the optical axis of the laser beams and wherein the more the straightening plate approaches a material W to be worked, the smaller its inner diameter becomes, are provided in the internal space of the nozzle holder between the nozzle and the condensing lens, a gas injection nozzle 47 which injects gas along plural straightening plates is provided, and the gas which is injected from the gas injection nozzle is discharged from the internal space of the nozzle holder into the external space of the nozzle holder.
