Abstract:

To provide a laser sealing apparatus that can keep temperature of frit uniform easily through control of energy density of laser beam irradiated to the frit, by forming an interceptor in the shutter opening section.

A laser sealing apparatus includes: a laser beam generation apparatus to irradiate laser beam; a shutter which is positioned in the beam path of the laser beam and intercepts a part of the laser beam; and a substrate mounting stand for mounting a substrate on which the frit to be irradiated by the laser beam passing through the shutter is formed. The shutter has a round-shaped shutter opening section through which the laser beam passes, and the upper and lower parts of the shutter opening section have the intercepting parts.
