To provide a laundry-fixing metal fitting for an ironing board which can be easily attached to and detached from an existing ironing board and can fix a part of laundry on the ironing board.

The laundry-fixing metal fitting X for the ironing board capable of being attached to and detached from an end part of the ironing board comprises: an L-shaped member 2 having a first face 21 that is placed on an upper face of the end part of the ironing board and a second face 22 that comes in contact with an end face of the ironing board; and a holding member 1 that is fixed to an outer face 21a of the first face 21 of the L-shaped member 2 and moves a pinching board 11 to switch a release state in which the pinching board 11 and the first face 21 are separated from each other and a fix state in which the pinching board 11 and the first face 21 hold a part of laundry therebetween.
