Title:
LED PRINTER HEAD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001018448
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To downsize an LED printer head by obtaining the LED printer head by tightly attaching microbeads to an LED array and, miniaturize it by making a distance to a photosensitive drum freely set.

An optical means of this printer head 1 is microbeads 4 of a true sphere set for each of light-emitting parts 2a with the center being agreed. A focus (f) is set on a plane of the light-emitting parts 2a. A focus (F) of the microbead is set by adjusting an aperture and a thickness of an aluminum electrode 5 set to a circumferential edge of the light-emitting part 2a. The LED printer head can be obtained by tightly attaching microbeads of a diameter of several tens μm at most to an LED array, thereby being made small in shape. At the same time, a distance to a photosensitive drum can be freely set, so that the shape can be made small.
