To provide a leg device for a desk, which is capable of changing the ground contact forms of leg bodies supporting both side parts of a top board with respect to a floor surface, capable of easily stabilizing the leg bodies without adding separate members even if an expansion top board is arranged behind the top board in order to expand the effective depth of the top board despite of having the top board fixed to the leg bodies and having stable balance of the center of gravity, and capable of suppressing a cost increase to the minimum.
Leg bodies 2 includes: front support legs 3; and rear support legs 4 shorter than the front support legs. Lower cross members 5 are connected between the lower ends of the front support legs and rear support legs. The lower surfaces of the lower cross members are set to be flush with the lower end surfaces of the rear support legs and are set to be higher than the lower ends of the front support legs. ground contact members 6 extending in a front and a rear direction are attached to the lower surface sides of the lower cross members and rear support legs to enable the change of front and rear attachment positions. The front leg bodies and the ground contact members are supported by having contact with a floor surface.
