Abstract:
To provide a lens unit and camera module, capable of obtaining visibility in a short time by directly heating the surface of a lens surface to promptly melting snow, etc, and contributing to downsizing and cost reduction.SOLUTION: A lens unit 11 comprises: a transparent conductive film 31 provided on a lens surface 13a facing the side of an object in a lens 13 constituting a lens group L and positioned closest to the side of the object; at least a pair of electrodes 32A and 32B electrically connected to the transparent conductive film 31; and lens heating means 48 for passing a current through the transparent conductive film 31 by applying a voltage between electrodes 32A and 32B to generate Joule heat in the lens surface 13a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
