Abstract:
Net-like textile fabrics based on insecticide containing polymer material, having a knock-down after 60 minutes of 95-100%, according to WHOPES (world health organization pesticide evaluation scheme)-guidelines (Phase I) after the execution of 25, 30 and 35 washes, a mortality after 24 hours of 80-100%, and a retention index of at least 95%, after at least 5 washes according to WHOPES-guidelines, is claimed. An independent claim is included for a process for producing the net-like textile fabrics comprising melting a polymer and insecticide together or separately at 120-250[deg] C, converting the melts into spinning threads and cooling, directing the resulting spinning threads on a stretcher system and stretching, performing the fixation and/or relaxation of the spinning threads and subsequently coiling the polymer threads in the same length parallel to knit and coil, and subjecting the resulting net-like fabric to a thermal fixing process.
