Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a light controlling functional sheet used in a back light system for a liq. crystal display device.
CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin is laminated on a substrate made of a thermoplastic resin film by an extrusion lamination method and a prism shape is imparted to obtain the objective light controlling functional sheet. This functional sheet is produced by extrusion-coating the surface of the substrate with the thermoplastic resin by the extrusion lamination method and pressing the thermoplastic resin against a cooling roll 1 having a prism shape on the surface at the same time.
