To provide a signal lighting apparatus incorporating an antenna as a new technological means for making it unnecessary to provide any support for antenna installation, and for preventing the fine sight of a road from being impaired.

A lighting apparatus 1 includes an optical unit 2 and an antenna 4. The optical unit 2 includes an LED 7; a substrate 8 with the LED 7 mounted on the front surface thereof; and a cover member 9 having visible light permeability which covers the LED 7 in front. The antenna 4 includes a patch element 11 arranged in a range from the cover member 9 to the front end of the LED 7 and a ground element 12 at the rear of the patch element 11. The patch element 11 having visible light permeability is supported by a support member 10 arranged in front of a substrate 8.
