Abstract:
To minimize influence by noise to a spatial light modulator, in a lighting fixture unit including the reflection-type spatial light modulator.SOLUTION: As a reflection control portion 30A of a spatial light modulator 30, each of a plurality of reflection elements is constituted to take a first angular position for reflecting light from a light source 52 reaching the reflection element toward a projection lens 72 in an optical path R1, and a second angular position for reflecting the light toward a direction out of the projection lens 72 in an optical path R2. Further a light shielding cover 90 for shielding the reflection light from each of the plurality of reflection elements at the second angular position, is disposed between the spatial light modulator 30 and the projection lens 72, and composed of a conductive material which is electrically earthed. Thus the light shielding cover 90 can be functioned as an electromagnetic shield for protecting the spatial light modulator 30 from noise generated by repeated lighting/lighting-out of the light source 52 while preventing the light not contributing on formation of a light distribution pattern from becoming stray light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
