To provide a lighting unit for a lighting buoy in which the beam of light reaches to a far vessel even if the lighting buoy is inclined at the existence of a billow, the beam of light is evenly irradiated over all azimuths in a horizontal direction and a burden of maintenance is also reduced in the lighting unit for the lighting buoy using a light emission diode.
In the lighting unit for the lighting buoy having an annular trough type reflection mirror 120 comprising the light emission diode 130 and a paraboloid, the light emission diode is attached to an insertion hole formed at the bottom of the annular trough type reflection mirror comprising the paraboloid so that all light emission portions of the light emission diode are exposed from the back side of the annular trough type reflection mirror to solve the problem.
