Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear drive device having superior stop position accuracy.SOLUTION: A linear drive device comprises: a mover 1 comprising a driving permanent magnet 3; and a stator 2 comprising a plurality of coils 11 arranged along a moving direction of the mover 1 in a position confronted with the driving permanent magnet 3. The mover 1 comprises a braking permanent magnet 5 arranged in a position confronted with the plurality of coils 11 by leaving a prescribed interval with the driving permanent magnet 3; and a mover side braking section 6 coupled with the braking side permanent magnet 5. The linear driving device is constituted so that a driving current pattern for controlling the position of the mover 1 is applied to the coil 11 in a position facing the driving permanent magnet 3, and a braking current pattern for controlling a braking state by the mover side braking section 6 is applied to the coil 11 in the position facing the braking permanent magnet 5 in the plurality of coils 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
