When a control execution determining means determines that prescribed stick preventing control executing conditions are established, the output hydraulic pressure of the linear solenoid valve is changed to rise in the opposite direction to the predetermined direction of removing foreign matters and then it is changed to lower in the predetermined direction of removing the foreign matters. Thus, the output hydraulic pressure is changed to be higher than in determining that the stick preventing control executing conditions are established. As a result, the fact that the output hydraulic pressure lowers to an undesirable value is avoided to prevent the degradation of controlling performance caused by a change of the output hydraulic pressure.
