Title:
LINKAGE TYPE SUSPENSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57205207
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable to take up broader space in the interior of a car by a method wherein the axle-coupling part of an upper link is shifted from the under side of a car body floor and arranged in a wheel house.

CONSTITUTION: The upper end part of an end plate 12 is extended to form a fitting part 12a, at the inside of which a pin 16 is protruded also at the same time. A bushing 10 is inserted on the pin 16 and fixed by means of a nut 16a. The axle 2-coupling part of the upper link 5 or the bushing 10 is so made up as to be arranged in the wheel arch 15 as mentioned above. Consequently, because the upper link 5 is removed from the under side of the car body floor 22, the car body floor 22 can be lowered, resulting in enabling to take up broader space in the interior of the car and as well as to efficiently absorb the vibration transmitted from wheels 13 to the car body floor 22 by employing the bushings 10 and 10a with low spring constants.
