To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of rescuing a short- circuit without arranging rescue wiring even when the short-circuit occurs across scanning wiring and signal wiring.
The invention relates to the liquid crystal display device wherein a liquid crystal is filled between a pair of substrates, and wherein picture electrodes arranged in a matrix form, thin film transistors connected with the picture electrodes via drain electrodes, signal wiring connected with gate electrodes of the thin film transistors, and scanning wiring connected with the gate electrodes of the thin film transistors are provided on one of the substrates, and the signal wiring is formed of at least two or more lines at a crossing part of the scanning wiring and the signal wiring.
