Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent static electricity generated in a liquid crystal panel manufacture process and the static electricity destruction of a TFT part owing to the influence of electrification in respective processes.
SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display element is formed of scanning lines 20 and signal lines 25, which are wired in a lattice form on an insulating substrate, and a switching element which is electrically connected to the scanning lines 20 and the signal lines 25. A dummy pattern 24 for intensively generating static electricity destruction having film structure similar to the switching element is formed outside the display area of the leader of the signal line 25.
