Abstract:
To improve visibility of a liquid crystal display having a plurality of minute slits formed in an electric field generation electrode, and to reduce display failures of textures or the like.
The liquid crystal display includes a first substrate, and a pixel electrode formed on the first substrate and having a plurality of minute branches. The pixel electrode includes a first region where an interval between adjacent minute branches is a first distance, a second region where an interval between adjacent minute branches is a second distance larger than the first distance, and a third region located between the first region and the second region and having an interval between neighboring minute branches gradually changed.
