Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal polymer film which is especially flat and has the almost uniform coefficient of thermal expansion in all of planar directions though the coefficients of thermal expansion of respective layers are locally non-uniform in respective directions.
SOLUTION: A film structure, which consists of two relatively thin outer layers oriented so as to be controllable in a certain direction and one or more relatively thick inner layer oriented so as to be controllable in one direction or two or more different directions, is formed by a bicyclic or tricyclic tube extrusion die.
