To produce a liquid droplet discharge device with an improved impact accuracy at a lower cost by simplifying constitution and capable of efficiently discharging liquid droplets.
The liquid droplet discharge device is provided with a discharge target body support means 2 for supporting a discharge target body 10, a plurality of liquid droplet discharge means 4 for discharging the liquid droplets to a plane to be discharged of the discharge target body 10, a first support means 5 for reciprocably supporting each liquid droplet discharge means 4 individually toward a first direction of the plane to be discharged of the discharge target body 10, a second support means 3 for reciprocably supporting the first support means 5 in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and a drive control means 6 which relatively moves the liquid droplet discharge means 4 relative to the support means 2 and locates them at predetermined positions relative to the discharge target body 10 and allows them to discharge the liquid droplets. The drive control means 6 determines the operation state of the liquid droplet discharge means 4 as one of acceleration movement, uniform speed movement, deceleration movement or stop. During discharging the liquid droplets by one liquid droplet discharge means 4 in one of the operation states, the operation state of the other liquid droplet discharge means 4 is determined as the uniform speed movement or the stop.
