To provide a liquid jet head which can stably emit a jet of liquid even if a jet of micro droplet is emitted at high speed, and a liquid jet apparatus equipped with the liquid jet head.

The liquid jet head comprises: a jet orifice 11 for emitting the jet of liquid as a droplet; a first liquid chamber 12 which is connected with the jet orifice 11, so that the liquid can be retained in the liquid chamber 12; a second liquid chamber 14 which is connected with the liquid chamber 12 via a pore 13; and a pressure generating means 15 which is formed in the liquid chamber 14 in such a manner as to correspond to the pore 13, and which is used for making the liquid generate pressure. In the liquid jet head, a liquid channel 24, different from the pore 13, is made to communicate with the liquid chamber 12.
