PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the stable detainment of a load, secure high responsiveness and noiseless operation in a load device using a boosting mechanism, and also miniaturize and lighten the whole device.
SOLUTION: This load device boosts and displaces the large diametral plunger 4 of a boosting mechanism 1 by fluid pressurized by the small diametral plunger 5 of the boosting mechanism 1, and is so formed that the small diametral plunger 5 is linearly advanced and retreated by a linearly feeding mechanism 2 driven by an electric motor 13. The electric motor 13 and the linearly feeding mechanism 2 are thusly used as the driving means of the small diametral plunger 5, therefore a driving noise can be reduced to a small extent and a load can be stably retained with ease, and besides, this load device can be formed smaller both in its mechanism and space.
