Abstract:

To surely cut off an inverse current, even on the upstream-side control system with reference to a load.

The load 360, one end of which is grounded, is connected to a power-supply terminal 300 via a terminal 302 in series with a power MOS transistor 321 and a protective MOS transistor 320. The gate of a MOS transistor 340 is grounded via a terminal 303, its drain is connected to the gate of the MOS transistor 320, and its source is connected to the terminal 302. In a normal connection in which the protective end of a battery is connected to the terminal 300, the gate voltage of the protective MOS transistor becomes high, the transistor is turned on, and the MOS transistor 321 is able to drive the load. When the battery is connected in reverse, the gate voltage of the MOS transistor 340 becomes high, the transistor is turned on, and the MOS transistor 320 is turned off surely. Thereby, it is possible to prevent inverse current from flowing to the load.
